Figured I’d share this quicky audio bit I did. I’ve been following Studio Thunderhorse and one of their pixel artists on Twitter for a bit now and keep loving the character animations they tweet about. And of course in my head I hear Flynn, the character, yelling and whatnot in his little fight scenes. So after work instead of falling asleep and napping I did some quick screen captures of the animated GIFs, made a reference video for my audio software and then threw a mic in front of me. Somehow the end result was quite fitting! And I still can’t believe how I made the sword impact sounds. EVERYTHING can be a foley prop :D
